Riptide Cafe - Arcata

It was quite awhile making a turkey cheese croissant so I'm the only customer. Then they burned it. Customer service was not bad or good, it was simply not available. 6.50 for a burnt breakfast not as much as an excuse. They offered to remake it, but I could say that she really didn't want to, so I said it's good to try sick to pick up the burned parts.... I also ordered a white chocolate **** last time, asked for ice, but they gave me a hot one. I didn't say a big deal, I'm late, so I just take it. Again, no excuse for this ****. When the coffee was finally cool enough to drink, it was a serious disappointment. They grumbled as if they burned the terrain as the Rahmer was past his date. Couldn't taste the white chocolate at all. It was like coffee with milk, not a white mocha. I'm really shocked when I see a line there. The coffee food is both subpar lacking customer service. It's a coffee shop, maybe a smile a good morning would ease the coffee

My partner ordered a 12oz Americano for $3.50 and we paid $10 for it because we were briefly changed to a $20. We both recognized it and asked about the missing $5 randomly in the top Jar with the $1.50 tip that we left but no luck. It felt like we ran off Riptide. I don't think we'll come back, but if I did, I wouldn't pay with cash. Coffee was okay, but not worth $10 for a 12oz cup.

Use to hit this spot all the time when I worked in northern Cali. Great coffee and great croissant sandwiches. Workers are awesome, too. Highly recommend pulling through.

Sweet ride through the coffee shop. You have great delays and other drinks. Vegan friendly. You also have some delicious dishes.

Lively, patient, and welcoming staff. The slug bagel with ham and cheese was better than I expected. The everything bagel seasoning really tops it off. The dirty chai is also very satisfactory here. ?
