Plaza Grill - Arcata

The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the beautiful older building. The ambience is like a restaurant in LA or San Francisco. The food is very good. I recommend the halibut. The service is very good. You are very attentive. Very recommended, if at all in this northern California.

Loved the plaza grill tonight. Our service was friendly and efficient. The Mahi Mahi tacos were very filling and delicious. The sweet potato fries perfect with a custom house made dipping sauce. I was hesitant to try but it was very good. The atmosphere is cool and inviting. Decorated for the holidays the vibe was perfect. Thank you

Great place to eat. Delicious food, creative cocktails. Plenty of choices on the menu. Vegetarian options. Gorgeous atmosphere and interesting location on the third floor of a historic building on the Arcata Plaza. Wheelchair access through the elevator located on the south side of the building.

We didn't have reservations so we sat at the bar. Our waitress was really nice. The bartender was too. The food was so delicious. Way better than when we went there a few years ago. The halibut was so good and the Rib eye was cooked perfectly. We tried the tropical spritzer and it had a great flavor.

Eclectic menu makes for some interesting dinner combinations..I had Pan Seared Scallops for the App, and Shepards Pie for the Main! Both were PERFECT. The bar was solid, but pours were on the tight side... The decorations for Christmas were wonderful and provided numerous family photo opportunities!! All and all a great place for a special dinner, or a quick meal before a live show at the ACL..Highly recommend when you are in Arcata.
