During a recent college visit from the Bay Area, we tried the Obento at this restaurant. We ordered the chicken katsu, veggie sushi, and croquettes, and were impressed by the freshness and unique flavors of the food. The kimchi sauce on the takuan was particularly delicious, and the portions were just right. We especially enjoyed the stuffed inari pockets. The menu is simple yet offers a variety of pleasing options for all of us. We hope our teenager chooses HSU so we can come back and dine here more often!
BEST chicken katsu in Humboldt 100%. The sushi tacos are BOMB. The owners are awesome, too!
