I had the Grandpa Goren, the Lox, cream cheese, red onions and capers. I just wanted to eat half of it, but eat the whole thing. I couldn't even wait to make a picture before I could bite. It is hard to say how it compares with New York Bagels, as this test, at least for me, works torn up with bare cream cheese to see if it is crispy on the outside and chew inside. My husband, whose test includes a roasted bagel with cream cheese, insists that it is pretty good. The line was quite long after our arrival, but try to move quickly. Many seats outside in picnic benches. The remaining room is also quite clean.
If you are looking for a quick place to not go on a delicious breakfast, lunch or snack look. That's it. Excellent bagel business, a must go every time I come to visit. The bagels are delicious and fresh. So many unique things about this place I love that they make ‘slugs’, the long bagels are instead circular, the house made all bagel season that they refer as ‘slug slime’ is spectacular, and the fact that you Larrupin (local Dill Senf, which is amazing). You have a great menu with many different options, but you can also make your own. If you are new in the area or just visiting, make sure to take a glass of larrupin sauce at home and a bottle of her **** slim! It's worth 100%. They always have a wide selection of their merchandise and local items to take at home, although it might seem slightly expensive, these are all excellent quality and worth every penny. The staff was friendly and service was fast. In addition, they have GREAT Covid precautions. Everyone I saw was masked, no dinner inside, and the tables outside were well spaced. I felt completely safe and comfortable.
Hands down the best bagelry I've ever been! If you're in town or over, it's a must. Large bagels made fresh and with super fresh ingredients. My favourite is the Slug Bagel with its famous **** slender to jump everything. They can also buy their dipped bottles to take home. This visit I had the **** with cream cheese, lax, capers and red onion. It was soooo good!
Good bagels, but $4.25 for a bagel with cream cheese... A little expensive. $6 for each protein (Bacon, Lox, etc.). No indoor seating, all terrace and parking table. Beautiful when the sun shines
While on a road trip through the area we decided to stop here for breakfast. The vibe/energy was great and the food was even better. The service was quick and the employees were happy to answer all of our questions since the menu is pretty extensive with sooo many options. Delicious coffee, amazing bagels, great service. 100% 5/5 stars. Don't miss this place.
