Carmela's Mexican Restraunt - Arcata

Three of us all have different Burritos and we liked them all. Even the simple things like rice and beans were pretty good. We agreed that standing out was the moles. The server was beautiful and they were happy to accommodate our small changes to our orders. We just want the weekly lunches to be held in the weekend.

Not bad. I love Mexican food so I'm a little biased. Several restaurants in the area include relatives or former employees. They have a very similar taste. There are some exceptions. I'm sure you'll eat here!

Good food, great prices, excellent serving sizes and a full bar. Great place for lunch and dinner. Could have more vegan options.

Carmela is the best Mexican in Arcata hands down. Now it is not a very high bar, but they are far and away the best in town

Excellent veggie and vegetarian burritos lots of grilled veggies and not too heavy feeling. The portions are huge and has good beer on drought, and the mole sauce (while spicy) is mega good. Recommend.
