Mo-mo-paradise Arcadia

This was my first time visiting Momo Paradise. We had a reservation at 8PM and were running late, but they still gladly seated us as soon as possible. We got seated right away and since it was my first time, I asked for recommendations from the server and he provided me with the different options tailoring to what I wanted. My friends and I got the tonkatsu and tomato soup base. But I didn't really enjoy the tomato soup base and they gladly switched it out for us! The food bar was a smaller selection than what I was used to for an AYCE shabu, but the quality was good and the bar area was kept clean. They also had a self serve drink bar, which had variety of different drinks. I enjoyed the Jasmine milk tea the most. Overall, a great dining experience with amazing service!

Came here with my sister 10/07/23, Anderson was our server and he was absolutely wonderful. It was our first time and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, explained everything to us and very attentive as well. Just overall a great server. Food was delicious, the sukiyaki broth was perfectly sweet and salty, really good beef and pork options, full veggie buffet with rice and Japanese curry! 10/10 would go again. I would give them a 10 star if I could

The first time we tried to eat at Momo's, the lines were too long. This was when they first opened. There was a lot of noise about how good the food was, how authentic it was. Well, last night, we finally tried it, party of four. We had read the reviews. Etc so we were looking forward to trying the food. What a disappointing experience it was. It is not authentic Japanese shabu. The sukiyaki broth was so watered down, the choice of vegetables so limited, the dipping sauces were a bust. The meats were not the quality so touted in the reviews. We finally asked for the flavors of ice cream. Expecting green tea or something Asian, we were offered cookies n cream, strawberry and vanilla. How Japanese is that?!? The service was not too shabby. The food was mediocre for the price they charge...not to mention the 18% surcharge. I don't mind paying for h food and a good experience. We should have stayed home. I cannot say we'd recommend it. We were all disappointed.

Have always loved eating at momo paradise! Been at least 5x now in the last 6 months. Meat quality is very good. We always start off with 2x/each meat! Vegetable bar is limited but always fresh and the types of vegetables we (personally) enjoy. We also love the drink bar and sauces. Ambience is always louder but nothing of a problem. Unfortunately this was the first time workers kicked us out for reaching 90 minute dining time. My reservation was for 7pm and we were seated 5 mins after checking in. It was 8:20pm when staff told us it was our last chance to have ice cream and then handed us with the check shortly after. We still had 2 plates of meat that we didnt cook yet but were prompted by staff to finish up quickly because the next table is ready to be seated . I also always make a reservation when dining at momo paradise and always request for 2 pots because my mother has dietary restrictions and cannot share with the rest of us (we usually seat for 4 people total). It has never been a problem in the past, but when I asked the front desk to confirm if they had seen my request, he said yes, i have 2 pots for you today, but i cannot guarantee this for next time regardless of the dietary restriction . He seemed a bit bothered that I had asked. I completely understand that they are busy, but considering i made a reservation well over a week ahead of time, this statement was very off putting. All my previous visits had amazing customer service, this last one was a bit off in comparison. Regardless, we had a wonderful experience as usual with the food!!

We absolutely love this place. We came once a week and come again for special occasions like birthdays. Trinity is really sweet and always takes great care of us. The broths are tasty, the buffet area for veggies are fresh and always filled, and the meats are fresh. We love the fish tofu and fish balls. We have tried many shabu places and this is the place we always come back to. Definitely make a reservation, they are always busy.
