It's been a while since my last stay at Embassy Suites, and it was fantastic, even if it was brief. I had just come from a concert, and the effects of Hurricane Hilary were evident on the highways. Arriving here felt comforting. The rooms are spacious enough for a family of nine. The beds were very comfortable, and both the living room chair and sofa were cozy as well. The breakfast the next morning was impressive, featuring freshly made omelets with various options, from vegetarian to meaty, alongside other standard hot and cold breakfast items. There were also great drink stations offering juice, soda, coffee, and tea. It's a beautiful place, and I will definitely come back again!

There's nothing inherently wrong with this hotel—the exterior is well-kept and clean, and the recently renovated lobby looks quite nice. However, the rooms feel outdated, and the TVs are smaller than what you would typically find in modern hotels. The service deserves an "average" rating because several small issues occurred that shouldn't be expected at a quality establishment. For instance, there was no water in the cooler in the fitness room when I worked out last night. I informed the front desk, yet when I returned in the morning, the cooler was still empty. I even checked again at noon, and there was still no water available. Additionally, the hotel has switched from the usual small bottles of shampoo and body wash to a wall-mounted pump system in the shower, but both my shampoo and conditioner were empty. On the bright side, there is a restaurant within the hotel that serves decent food. Even better, there's a very nice steakhouse called "The Derby" right next door. In summary, it's not a "bad" place to stay, but there are other hotels nearby where I've experienced much nicer and more modern rooms without the inconveniences. As I mentioned, the rooms are somewhat dated and can feel a bit "dingy"; they really need to improve the lighting since no matter how many lights are on, the rooms still seem quite dark. As for food and drinks, the restaurant in the hotel offers good food, which is a plus.

The room appeared clean, new, and spacious when my husband and I were searching online for a quality suite for our trip. Upon our arrival, we were pleased to see that the lobby looked modern and well-renovated, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. This positive impression quickly faded as we entered our room. It was dark and dated, with a strong odor—perhaps from age or the cleaning products used. The sofa was old and worn, with visible stains, and the bed sheets and shower curtain were in a similar state. We also noticed fingerprints and handprints on the windows. Overall, the room felt too dim and neglected, prompting us to consider switching to a brighter room or even finding another hotel for the remainder of our stay.

We were very excited to stay at this hotel. It was more than we usually pay but looked really nice and fancy on line. Upon arrival we headed straight to the rest rooms. Right off the bat the walk down the hall was very dirty. The bathroom was not in the best. Several toilets were not flushed and didn't look like house keeping had even been there. We had made a reservation for two queen beds but they were over booked and didn't have any. They gave us a room with one king bed and sofa. The sofa was not fit for anyone to sleep on. We were told we could change rooms the next night. To compensate us they gave us free parking which we were already supposed to get according to the reservation receipt along with free breakfast.The room we had the second night was better. Breakfast had a good selection.The gates closing the parking lot were annoying to use whether going in or out.Rooms: Where very spacious.

Check in was quick, pool and indoor dining is a plus. Housekeeping was an issue. There was visible hair in the bathtub and on the bathroom floor, sticky globs of something in the rug, a sock was under the bed and walls seriously need to be cleaned. On the second day my room started to smell like a pet room. This place is nice however housekeeping should thoroughly clean and pay closer attention.Nearby activities: Short distance from Universal Studios.
