The sauce is brown, not red like I?m used to but still very good. The pork chunkswere very moist which I loved, with just enough fat for moisture and flavoring. The price is a bit up there, especially for acrowd. $15.00 for 6 Small Buns?but better quality when comparing to local Asian Market deli sections. 4-6 huge buns To-Go for$8.00 and you can feed an army or share 1 with a friend. Despite the price, I loved the product. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention,Take the Steaming Square Paper off the Bottom before eating lol. The NAME Signage wasn?t over the door when I arrived so Iparked in the giant lot to look at the map. I discovered that it was located on the yogurt shop side of the lot. 2nd shop onright from east entrance. It?s a strip mall off Duarte Baldwin, Bank of America ATM near sidewalk.
Went to dine in we ask for water and we were served a red cups..and our food was served on paper plates -__-. I paid 50 bucks for food that tasted old. I should of left when I was brought the plastic beer pong cup of water!! And now I feel like i have tothrow up. What also didnt help was there was another couple sitting across from us and when we were served the plastic cups andplates they got up and left.. Definitely not worth 50 dollars!!!!????????
Not bad for the Shanghai food. I have been trying to place a take out order here but haven?t had a chance until now. Today we finally made an order for their famous Fried Soup Dumpling. It took them 25 minutes to get the order ready. As the restaurantexplained to me that it takes that long to slowly pan fry the dumpling to perfection. The fried soup dumplings were good. Theonly thing is that by the time I got home, the dumpling skins became too hard. They lost the soft top and crunch bottom on thedumpling. The pork meat inside was still tasty. It?s very close to the Shanghai style fried soup dumpling. I wish they wouldmake the dumpling skin thinner. This restaurant also offers other shanghai style dishes. I would like to come back to try otherdishes on the menu. For those of you trying to find the Cheeky Cheeky Bun Bun sign, it is inside the Chang?s Garden restaurant. It?s a restaurant within a restaurant.
Wow, we ordered a little bit of everything, and it was delicious! We were in town passing bye and thankfully stopped and tried it! Definitely recommend. And the service was great too, very nice patio outside as-well!
Taking off a star as they couldn't tell me if there were peanuts in the food, due to my allergy. I hesitated with proceeding with my order, but decided to go for it as I was getting it to-go, and I'd be able to deal with my allergy if it had peanuts. Thankfully I was ok, but I still didn't like that they didn't know.I got the bun bun sampler and the bunny soup dumpling, as it sounded like that's what they were known for. When I went to pick it up, I noticed that they were part of a larger restaurant, which threw me off a bit. The food remained warm by the time I got home, so I didn't need to heat it up. I enjoyed the fried soup a lot. It was different from what I've had before. The bun bun sampler was a bit bready to me but the flavors were satisfying. I probably wouldn't go out of my way for them, but for that moment, it was a satisfying meal.
