This is a great place if you are looking for a restaurant in the centre of Arcachon. They are almost on the beach and have a great menu. This is a bit pricy but food is really excellent, and portions are big. The "menu du jour" is a safe option as they have many options and this is nicely cooked and presented. I have been there 2 times in a week and was always goodI can only recommend.
We ate at this restaurant only the once but would have returned again if time allowed. Although it is quite expensive the food and wine were excellent and the location is superb. We started with 4 little appetisers which were beautiful and then had oysters. For the main course we had monk fish and this was followed by a dessert and cheese. The service was very good.
My partner and I ate here with our two sons (aged 8 and 2) last week whilst visiting Arcachon. We hadn't reserved a table but arrived as the restaurant opened at 7pm, and were seated immediately. The restaurant quickly filled up so we were glad to have got there early. My French is rather rusty but everybody who approached our table spoke English, and we were given English menus. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food (the pork and the monkfish), as did the children (both had fish with fries, very well cooked). We shared the profiteroles for dessert, and we were glad we had only ordered one as they were massive! The bill was above average, but we were happy to pay extra for good quality food. The only negative was that every other table I looked at had been provided with bread. I had to ask for bread as the children's plates arrived, but it never materialised. However, we enjoyed our meal so the four star rating is still deserved.
Ate here on our first night in Arcachon. Busy restaurant but service was good. Lots of choice on the menu. Great oysters and we shared the Cote de Boeuf which went down well with the red wine. Seemed a bit on the expensive side at first but have come to realise that prices are standard for eating out in Arcachon.
