Candles Restaurant - Ararat

This restaurant offers a wide variety of T2 teas, making it the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing and distinctive cup of tea.

We have dined at this restaurant a few times recently. While I am not particularly familiar with Asian cuisine, I found the meals here to be exceptionally delicious. The service was very friendly and the food was served promptly. Although the wine selection is limited, there are some excellent local options available. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise to discover this hidden gem of a restaurant.

During a road trip as a small group we ate at this restaurant. It was quite disappointing overall. One young waitress tried her best to be attentive in the initial stages but after that we have few compliments to offer.Staff members squabbled loudly with other guests, dishes were ridiculously small, and it was very hard to get a waitress to take additional orders, or to clear dishes away.Candles is definitely not up to scratch and should be snuffed out.

Ate here last week, definately have had better chinese elsewhere but it was ok.The waitress was very friendly and food came out fast and hot. Meals are large and reasonably priced. Only tried 2 dishes and rice so maybe other dishes would be better. We ordered the combination with cashew nuts and wasn't a cashew nut in the whole dish so not sure what happened there.Very quiet little restaurant, convenient if you are staying at the motel.

They should stick to what they know and cook food. not provide accommodation. the singapore noodles where fine. the restaurant was dead.
