This Is It - Arambol

I wanted to buy gulab jamun, to go. My husband asked if they had nann with egg, the worker replied yes. He went in the kitchen came back, charged a higher price, for what I had asked, my husband was tired and decided not to lose his energy . The worker come back and asking if we had ordered Butter chicken. I told him no, he entertained the request just like that. after I have spoken that I did not buy this, the gulab jamun come without the accompanying ice cream. but he charged the full price.. they want to sell, if you told me you don't have what I want I'd go away. but that's the problem, sometimes they want to sell what they have, not what you want... i'm paying so more respect. I also work with gastronomy, i understand that.....

The food is very expensive and does not taste good at all. It is always served cold and the plates are dirty. The staff seems to be half drunk or on something most of the time. When you bring up any issues, the staff is very rude. In fact, we witnessed a customer being slapped in front of us. It is not a place for people looking to avoid confrontation. This Is It was the worst experience I have ever had in Goa.

Been with couple of friends to This Is It, in Arambol. Must admit this place is awesome..that we ended up going there thrice in the 6 days we were in Arambol. First time we went there for breakfast. It is such a chilled out place, that we even saw a Russian walk in with a old monk bottle in his hand :-).We opted for a English breakfast, which was very well laid out. The water melon juice that was served with it was quite refreshing.This place is a must visit every time we are in Arambol or nearby area.

Как они ее поймали?! Эту курицу!!! Она такая жилистая, долго от них бегала. И было ее там 3-4 малюсеньких кусочка. Цвет у карри почему то был коричневым. Неостро, но невкусно.

Let me start by saying...this place will remain a must visit every time we are in Arambol.We were in Goa, Arambol in December, last yr..and we ended up going to This is It, after seeing the reviews. It instantly became a fav place, be it for breakfast, or hang around or even spend the evenings enjoying the live music. We loved this place so much that we ended up going there for breakfast 2 times and dinner 2 times. Service was oki. English breakfast was gooood. For dinner, we had quite a bit, however don't recall much as we were engrossed in the live band that was playing very soulfully.The view from this is it is breathtaking. One can just spend hours there watching the non stop / never ending beach walkers. The constant cry of the people selling things keep you engaged, no doubt. Even after so many months, the voices of ladies selling honey and pineapple echo in my ears ‘hello honey?’ ‘hello ananas?’. The evenings are magical, watching the sun go down, the Russian market coming alive, the buzzing noise around as explorers / vacationers get ready for the night life. We are very sure that we will be back here for many more breakfast sessions and evenings.
