Shimon Falafel - Arambol

We have struggled to find vegan food in arambol compared to 4 years ago when I last came so I searched on here and saw Shimons Falafal, and I don’t even like falafel but the food here is AMAZING. Small hidden away gem , we had mango juice which was amazing , the we had babaganush and bread, and both had vegan moussaka with tofu. This came with salad, chips , hummus and bread. The portions were huge so I felt guilty when I couldn’t finish it all, very cheap and get so much for your money.

Delicious food! I have eaten their falafel plate with hummus, chips and sallad many times. I also got a wonderful home baked pita bread. There shakes and juices are also very good. With many different fruits to choose from. Very vegan friendly place. Almost everything on the meny is plant-based. Also tje service were very good, super friendly staf! They are the #1 restaurant in Arambol for a reason. Definitely go there if your in town!

This was a breath of fresh air after poor attempts at Israeli food at the beach shacks around Goa. Owner is Israeli. I'm not a big fan of falafel normally, but was shocked at how moist, tasty and healthful his tasted. I didn't want chips or bread so he made me a big plate with lots of extra salad instead. Hummus was served warm with olive oil and was real real hummus. Iced coffee really was the best I had in arambol ... or all of india for that matter. Safe place to eat raw salad... give it a try.
