Orange Peel Bakery - Aquinnah

Baked scone and blue berry corn muffin were very very dry. And One of the scones was burnt on the bottom. Disappointed. We even didn’t finish our food and we were hungry. ????

A true gem... and the most delicious raspberry tart on the planet!

After watching the PBS special on bakeries we ventured out to the Orange Peel Bakery this past week, arrived around noon. Perhaps because it is now off season all that was there were a few cookies and an apple coffee cake cut into pieces on paper plates, no breads or pies. The front area was not very appealing as a row of garbage cans sat in full view right in front of the oven, boxes and random items scattered about. I did purchase a piece of coffee cake but none in our group were very excited about trying it. There was a bowl of dough proofing inside but it almost had an abandoned feel to the place. We probably should have called in advance. An off day? Disappointing.

The lobster roll and clam chowder were legit! The pork tacos were delicious. The chef was super nice and invested in is enjoying our meal.

Awesome pizza and a great place to break from our bike ride today. BSA19
