Persephone - Aptos

Wow! It is wonderful to have such a great, stylish, tasty restaurant here in Aptos. I'd say this is the best restaurant in Santa Cruz district and we all ate. Erin, Alex and Chef welcomed us. You must try the persimmonen salad then follow w with the crab ravioli. Just perfect. Together with a beautiful Nebbiolo, you are set. Oh, although I'm not a dessert, the apple finale with the lava salt is worth every bite! Thank you. Chef Cori, who brings us to a new level of food in Aptos!

A little Hamptons here at home. Delicious from beginning to end, unique aromas and excellent service. The wine list also included wines from California! It was a wonderful surprise. We're coming back!

I must say that I had no great expectations before eating in Persephone after exploring many of the local restaurants, I had difficulty finding one that is just a little special... but that was it. Going inside was pleasant to see a clean, well-designed interior with simple, tasteful decor. We were greeted with a smile and the service was timely but not hastened. And then the food... well it far exceeded my expectations. It was beautifully designed and tasted amazing. Nothing was overcrowded and the desserts were not too sweet.. I definitely come back.

The food service at Persephone was absolutely fantastic! We live in the Napa Valley and experience world class food as part of our general lives and Persephone was better than anything we've had here in a very long time! It was a food experience that we will long remember!!!
