Wooden Nickel Sports Grill - Appleton

Our spontaneous stop during a road trip turned into a fantastic experience! Wooden Nickel is a cozy neighborhood bar that struck the perfect balance between creating a cozy atmosphere and maintaining proper social distancing. We highly recommend stopping by to have Charlie and Sam take care of you with their friendly service and generous portions. Kudos to Wooden Nickel for a great dining experience!

I really enjoyed this bar! The atmosphere was fun, the food was awesome, they had a great variety of drinks, and the bartenders were friendly. One of my top places to go for a night out.

This restaurant is fantastic! It has always been a great spot and always will be. I remember about 40 years ago when it was also a cool shop that sold rare albums. Some of those albums were incredibly hard to find.

Great service! They let us have our dogs on the patio and came out to take our order despite the 'Order Inside ' sign. The elk burger and fried pickles were delish.

Still the best bar food on the Ave. Good burgers on bakery buns and good fries. Cold beer lots of choices.
