Golden Age 1981 BBQ Restaurant

Where does one start? A banquet for six. First serve was cold so was replaced. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Only 2 other patrons but the sole waiter had to be called for everything including wine glasses. ($9 corkageApart from a whole fish which was good the meal was very ordinary. A squid dish was inedible. Chinese tea served with a dangling tea bag.First and last for us.

We weren't sure what to expect when we arrived and were seated at a round table with a barbecue hot plate in the middle our table. how ever with the mix of buffet ready to eat food and instructions to pile up our plates with a large selection of freshly prepared raw foods off we went... Chef Mike gave us a few tips and soon we were all having a laugh whilst Cooking up and enjoying the food made tasty with a large assortment of condiments and sauces. Kids are all looking forward to going back for another go. Pretty good value and something different. The venue has a good vibe with full tables and eager diners. Well Worth a visit.

We were greeted to a very warm and friendly welcome by all the staff. This was our very first visit to this wonderful restaurant. We were a little unsure of the process of what to do, but the staff were there to assist us all the way. The food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning with my friends and family. We had an absolutely fantastic night.

We came here using a Scoopon deal... we were not disappointed. Mike the Chef and owner was a fantastic host. He explained how things worked and even cooked our first lot of meat and seafood with suggestions for sauces. We had the buffet bbq and ate plenty. There was rice and Singapore noodles, paratha, soup and vegetables to accompany the plentiful supply of meat. We will definately return as it was a great night and fantastic food.

I have been to a few other Korean BBQs but this one is very generous with their spread. The food and yummy sauces are immediately replenished unlike others I have been. Their king prawns and marinated meats are yummy and home-made green tea ice-cream to die for. Will be back!
