Castle Stalker View - Appin

Stunning location overlooking the castle. Views will not disappoint. I had the Moroccan stew, tasty and filing.

Each day this beautiful restaurant has a vegan soup and a vegan main course option, sometimes they have a vegan desert too. When we visited last week my husband had the soup, then we both enjoyed the Mexican chick pea stew with salad, all the while delighting in the gorgeous view of Castle Stalker. The location is absolutely stunning with a breathtaking view of the castle, which certainly did not disappoint. I ordered the Moroccan stew, and it was both delicious and hearty.

This stunning restaurant offers a vegan soup and a vegan main dish every day, and occasionally they even have a vegan dessert. During our visit last week, my husband tried the soup, and we both savored the Mexican chickpeas with salad while taking in the breathtaking view of Castle Stalker. I visited this café after seeing reviews that mentioned a few options available. The café itself is quite nice, and the non-vegan dishes appeared to be of good quality. However, the only vegan option was a "cream of cauliflower" soup that could be modified to be served without cream. The bread served was of low quality and came with butter. On the positive side, they did offer a decent selection of vegan milk. Unfortunately, there were no vegan desserts or main courses available.
