168 Chinese - Apopka

This was my first time trying the restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say I was really disappointed. The dish I had was mostly broth and lacked flavor. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. I also tried the shrimp and broccoli; it was better than the sesame chicken, but still not good enough for me to want to eat there again.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this place on Friday night, and I must say I was very impressed. To be honest, I've tried a few Chinese restaurants in the area before and was never really impressed, but this one has changed my mind. It's amazing, and I will definitely be coming back! I was a bit hesitant about the egg rolls at first, but after trying them, I was completely hooked!

I paid $12 for a sweet and sour bun with rice, and drinks were an additional cost. You can find better takeout deals elsewhere.

I used to be a regular but I moved further away, so I haven't been here in a while. I recently found out that I can get delivery via Doordash, so I ordered from here a couple of weeks ago. I missed their dumplings and they were as good I remember. However, they forgot to include the fried rice with my combination platter. Today I was craving their dumplings again, so I drove 20 minutes to get that and a lunch special. This time they forgot to include the soup that comes with lunch. I wished I had checked the back before I drove the 20 minutes it took to get home, but I should not have to do that. I'm not sure what happened to this place in the last couple of years, but that's twice in a row that they forgot something. Plus, their portion sizes have decreased while their prices have increased. The portion size would not have bothered me so much if they had given me all the items I should have received with my order. Especially since their lunch specials are $2-3 more than most Chinese restaurants in the area and the portions are smaller than other places. Yes, quality is more important than quantity, but that includes the quality of service. Forgetting an item (twice in a row) is not very good service.
