E Sushi Grill - Apollo Beach

Awesome every time and I go often. They have boba tea now. I liked the old menus better. The new ones are different Nd prices went up a bit. It will not keep me from still going. Prices have gone up every where ofcourse. That's understandable and I will keep supporting our Apollo beach small businesses. This place is a gem. Nice servers and quiet inviting. I LOVE THAT IT IS NOT LOUD and they don't rush you. I do miss the flowers on the plated sushi its like art. Beautiful!!! This place charges $2 to get cucumber in replacement of the jalapeño that comes with the roll I can’t handle the jalapeño) . the manager was very rude about it too. So they wanted to give me a “mexican” roll only with shrimp and avocado) . I was kind about it too but just shocking I guess to be charged $2 for a couple slivers of cucumber no thanks. Great spot for hibachi and sushi. Food is always great. I think the portions are bigger when dining in, but always good. Staff is always welcoming and friendly.

Most restaurants around here are either all you can eat 'Sushi ' restaurants or Chinese restaurants that also serve sushi and some Japanese dishes. This restaurant is Japanese and it is excellent. The food is fresh, the portions are very generous and the service is great. I am not a sushi or sashimi lover, but my husband and my daughter are and they enjoyed their meals. My husband took his first ever picture of a meal...it was plated so beautifully. I had the Shrimp Tempura, which I have eaten from Boston to NYC to Tampa. The number of shrimp was amazing and all beautifully battered, crisp and light, cooked perfectly. The Spicy Tuna, Salmon Maki Roll dinner was 'delicious ' according to my daughter. Her only comment was, that on its own, it was not 'spicy ' at all. We are a family that enjoys 'spicy '. Still fresh and delicious. The food was good and the presentation was beautiful. The service was outstanding. The restaurant has a good lunch vibe.
