Donovan's Dish - Apex

We cannot recommend Donovan's Dish enough. From the people to the food, they are next level all around. We had so much fun working with the team to customize a unique menu for our wedding and boy, did Donovan's deliver. People are still raving about the food...it isn't just good food for a wedding, its gourmet and utterly delicious. When you choose Donovan's Dish as your caterer, DO NOT pass up the Shrimp Grits. This southern favorite even got a crowd of New Yorkers to throw their hands up in the air! Donovan's uses a D as their logo and let me tell you, it stands for down right delicious, divine and delectable.

We hired Donovan's Dish to cater our daughter's recent wedding. They did such an amazing job and the food was absolutely delicious. I had so many guests raving about the food. Thanks to Ashley for being so nice and accommodating to work with, as well as the staff on the wedding night. Very happy with all services and highly recommend for all your catering needs!

I can't even express how amazing the DD team was in making our wedding a success. Sydney was responsive, creative, and someone that was so organized from our first meeting. We moved from a venue to doing a wedding on our farm (with no venue) within 4 months and Sydney jumped right in and put us at ease. Her team helped from set-up to break-down and provided the best full service experience. Not to mention the food! We love food and are foodies and all of our friends and family keep talking about the shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles! This team is someone I would recommend 10x over and they helped make our wedding dreams come true!

Bought multiple items. Have tried 3. Ham and Swiss quiche was a tad too salty for my tastes but this was a quiche that was loaded with filling other than just eggs. Hibachi steak and chicken was FANTASTIC. There were huge chunks of steak and chicken. The Yum Yum sauce and ginger sauce were excellent. The baked potato soup was chunky and tasted like pure comfort. Really liked how the product was shrunk wrap and sealed. Update: Had the other two items the meatloaf that comes with mashed potatoes and the mac n cheese. Both were excellent. The mac n cheese is actually SPECTACULAR! When you consider it was previously frozen from my freezer I was extremely skeptical. I would put that up there with any Mac n cheese I have ever had. I would like to meet Big John and shake his hand. Update 2: The Butternut Squash Soup is amazing!

Donovan's Dish was amazing for our wedding! They were easy to work, to communicate quickly and answer all our questions, and had AMAZING food. Our guests tell us how great the food was! Donovan's Dish took care of everything a day and made sure we had nothing to worry about. 10/10 recommend!
