Several items were amazing, some not so much. Fish fingers where great, popcorn shrimp was so over cooked that they were chewy and tough.
You come to this town for Oysters. Oysters they have but they just don't make the grade. I thought there was a law regarding the size of Oysters that can be served. I have never been served such small Oysters, some were no bigger than my thumb. The raw shucked were good but the fried ones were way over cooked. I also wanted something else so Shrimp grits sounded good, but they were out of grits all they could offer were grilled shrimp, 10 small semi grilled shrimp on a plate....tha'ts it folks for $22.00 some were only half cooked. I was not impressed with this restaurant at all.
A local resident recommended this restaurant. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. The staff were cheerful and friendly. The food was typical seafood fare. My crab cakes had very little crab meat and were almost burnt. My husband had a grouper sandwich and it was just average. Maybe the oysters are what locals enjoy, we did not try their oysters.
