Chicago's Number One Gyros

I would give this restaurant two stars for its convenience and cleanliness. I was disappointed that the Chicago dog did not come with poppy seeds and the hotdog itself didn't taste very good. The pickle spear was old and appeared to be rotten. The gyro was decent, but overall, I probably won't be back.

I ordered a Gyro and replaced my fries with a Greek salad. The wording on the web site is ...All sandwiches include fries instead of fries get a Greek salad I called them and stated I think they overcharged. They said no, they credit the fries and add a small Greek salad. The small Greek salad they charged me for was $6.99. and it was just a side, not a whole separate salad. Even at that if you order a Greek Salad Separately it is only $3.49.I ended up paying $14.69 Tax (without even a drink) vs my friend that got the Gyro, Fries and Drink for $9.98 Tax.To the owner, you really need to re-evaluate how you charge. Very disappointing.

Although the flavor was good, the texture of the chicken was evident that it had been frozen and thawed twice.A bit pricey, however it is made from scratch.Please don't refreeze your meat.. it spoils the whole experience.

They have some of the best gyros here on the east side of town. But if you were to compare state wide Arby's gyros are equal to. Although for being a small mom, pop restaurant, they do extremely well for themselves food, service and quality.. I do recommend eating here if you want to try something new and actually enjoy it. Just about anything on the menu is worth stepping foot in the restaurant.
