Yamauchi Farm Aomori Ekimae

Must try when you visit Aomori. I recommend not only cured chicken with garlic and negi, but sashimi is also fresh and juicy. OFFICE

Came to dinner at the New Year's Eve when one of the few places was open for the business. The food was great and I am really glad that they have chicken eggs outdoors that I rarely surpass in Japan.

Usually I am pretty satisfied with food in Izakaya in Japan. However, the food in this restaurant is way way way below what one can expect. All the hot dishes were either burnt very badly or undercooked, and are way overpriced. I have tried the same restaurant in other cities of Japan, and they are nothing like this. The franchisor should really look into this store as how it's operated.

I asked the course of cheese taカルalbi, but why it was fried, and when I call it in advance to confirm, the clerk who was booked in another course was inefficient

English menu available. Average Izakaya. I would give it 2*, but partner wanted to give it 3* (she likes it). The food is probably something overpriced for its quality. Everything was basically okay, and edible. I just ordered cooked food so can not comment on sushi/sashimi. Food was cooked by but warm when served. The place looked clean and well kept. Footwear from politics when entering (setting shoes in simple lockers on the door). Service was good, fast and attentive. Private stands were good.
