De Nachtegaal - Antwerpen

Because I'd heard a lot of praise, we decided to go to dinner on Sunday 18/9. It was 5:45, and we couldn't order anything from the suggestion board. Strange, when the kitchen is open for the usual card. I thought we were at a rest home to eat a restaurant. We got four for one, and it's not that good.

Spacious restaurant with excellent food and service

Not really recommendable, but since all the other places in the area are worse, fine if you want a quick bite but nothing more. Interior is dated and stuck in the 80's era. Service is not very friendly.

Had the Filet, asked to cook medium, but it was well done, which was unfortunate. Service was slow, but I guess on a busy sunny day you can't really complain.

One of the waiters was more interested to get in conflict with customers instead of actually doing his job. On a normal questions such as Excuse me, can you clean the table please? the answer was like Have some patience, I 'm not a dog . I don 't know if this is his daily acting, but he definitely needs some psychologist help. Food is also not that amazing...
