Stellas Soul Kitchen - Antioch

I just had the two way oxtails and fried catfish. Man that was good and right on time after seeing girls trip with my wife. I tell people it's not about the ambiance it's about that good ass food. A lil salty on the gravy but I don't eat out often. Nice place to just eat a meal and focus on the food. The waiter is a nice guy with good dad jokes. LOL.

I have eaten here several times. The food is consistently good. I get the catfish, yams and macaroni and cheese. They cut the catfish into small pieces instead of the big hunks that most places give. I love that! (I only gave 4 stars because the cornbread is not that yummy.

I was having my truck fixed in the area of Stella's Soul kitchen. There are no restaurants in the area. Thank God I found Stella's arrived there at 2 30 pm . The weather was extremely hot today. I had there sweet tea three glasses in the first 3 hours. Around 5 30 pm enjoy a great soul dinner. The ownership let me stay at the restaurant until closing time 8pm. The ownership treat me like family. I will take my friends there and enjoy there great soul Kitchen again. I am from a big family of 7 brothers we love to eat good home cooking food like Stella's Soul kitchen. I recommend Stella's Soul Kitchen to everyone!!! And I put my name with this recommendation. When it comes to true Southern Cooking, Stella 's Soul Kitchen got a lot of these mom pop truly beat. A warm and comfortable place to eat or pop in out. Excellent taste, fall off the bone tender. Welcome home greetings like us Southerners. 'My for sure go to place '
