Kobe Steak Seafood - Antioch

I absolutely love this place! The service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. I've dined at many restaurants, but this one definitely ranks among the best. For those who left negative reviews, I apologize that this restaurant didn’t meet your high standards. Regardless, I’ll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend it! -Sam

It's easy to spot from the road, and there's plenty of parking available. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They have a standard menu as well as sushi options, including an all-you-can-eat deal, and I've found that every dish I've tried so far has been quite good. The portion sizes are decent for the price. However, the food can sometimes take a while to prepare, resulting in longer wait times, especially when the restaurant is busy, as servers usually manage their own sections. Nonetheless, the food is delicious and worth the wait. If you have the time, I highly recommend dining here, but if you're in a hurry, they do offer takeout as well. I have to mention that my favorite item is the tempura cheesecake; I think it might just be my favorite dessert ever, surpassing even the one from Kobe.

Great experience! The highlight was definitely the amazing chef, an awesome Asian guy named Mai. I did have one unpleasant encounter with an ill chef, but the management quickly addressed the situation and took excellent care of our entire table.

I used a Groupon deal for my visit and called ahead to confirm they would accept it, which they happily did at the end of my meal. Just be sure to read the fine print before purchasing, as that might be the issue some people are encountering. Our server, Brenda (I believe that was her name), was fantastic—constantly attentive and busy throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious! However, I did have two issues: First, our drinks took a long time to arrive while we watched the bartender seemingly idle. Second, we requested melted butter with our meal, but it didn't arrive until about 10 minutes later. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit, and I recommend purchasing the Groupon voucher because it’s a great deal!

The food is deliciously prepared and served quickly, making for an enjoyable dining experience. However, the seating has an auditorium-like feel and could benefit from some booths. Additionally, the noise level is quite high, which detracts from the overall atmosphere. Despite these drawbacks, the quality of the food makes it worthwhile.
