El Machete Mexican Grill - Antioch

My new favorite Mexican food place right now in the area (and I have tried a lot .Food is really good and fresh.Prices are reasonable too and not overpriced. My whole family loves it :

Very friendly staff who educated us on how Mexican food is different in every state in Mexico just like the USA has.

Evening I have tried is really good. My two favorites are the California burrito and the taco salad with grilled veggies.

My husband and I decided to try a new place. Saw the reviews and thought let’s try it. BIG mistake! We got there nobody inside except the people who work there. Sitting at a table talking.I requested extra meat was charged $4.50. Did NOT get extra meat and the burrito was basic and lot of rice and beans. We won’t be going back. Not sure how they have 4.6 stars.

1st time there. Ordered a fresh grilled chicken burrito, it was delicious! It had lots of meat w/rice, beans, salsa, etc. Soooo good! Will be back...
