Les Arcades - Antibes

Not fancy but waiters are polite and service is quick and efficient. Pizza was very good, crème caramel too. Very good for a relaxed evening

The Pizza served cold, not tasty. Salad makes you vomit, no taste, veggies not washed. Better buy baguette and eat it. Very impolite service with dry smile and they even don't care since they believe they will see their clients only once !!! Shocked to see such quality in france.

Granted all the restaurants on this street are busy, but put enough staff on so you can serve at a reasonable speed and have 2 seconds to take an order, I asked one question about a cocktail which was brushed off and then asked 'food?' because waiter was desperate to move on..starter of fried calamari and squid was more like the 'bits' from the chip shop, slow cooked lasagna was burnt around the edges and slop in the middle, pasta was over cooked and the whole experience was stressful because of the poor service, I don't normally bother leaving reviews but my suggestion is avoid

This restaurant has a really good location which is why it's always busy but don't be fooled. There are much better restaurant less than 2 mins away. There was a piece of glass in our carbonara, which was really bland and our mushroom pizza was just as bland, slightly soggy in the middle but with undercooked mushrooms. Keep walking by.

I was assigned the task of finding a good restaurant to celebrate with 10 friends after the wedding the day before. I liked the look of Les Arcades and its position on the corner of this attractive parade of restaurants in bustling part of the town, read quite a few negative reviews but despite my reservations i went with my gut feeling and eventually took the plunge and booked a table of 10, thankfully this proved to be a great decision. The staff were brilliant and very patient with our feeble attempts at ordering in French, we had a range of starters which included spare ribs, kalamari and octopus salad all were very nice and big generous portions, the main dinners were lovely and all 10 of us were happy with our respective choices, great wines, fantastic atmosphere and being on this busy little street were treated to a group of street entertainers who were acrobats from Brazil, all helped to create a truly wonderful night, but the praise must go to the restaurant management who were brilliant and so friendly, whether it was agreeing to take photos of us, treating us to liquors, extra dishes, buying me cigarettes from a nearby shop, they really could not have done enough, the bill came to around 60 Euros per person but we eat very well and drank 6 bottles of mouthwatering rose wine, the staff deserved every cent of our generous tip. Thank you for making our stay extra special and confounding the negative reviews.
