Unfortunately therefore dinner was not being served on the terrace and we were inside the rather small restaurant. However it is a lovely room and we had a super table by a window. The hotel imperial garoupe was once a private house. It is now a small but perfectly formed hotel on le cap. We had a look around and were shown a couple of rooms. We may well go back to stay. The hotel and it's grounds are very pleasant. There is also a beach club which we did not see. We were well looked after by Alain, who normally manages the beach club, as you could tell by his very chilled out demeanour and surfer dude hair style. He regularly stands in at the restaurant. He was great. Very friendly and helpful and could not have done more to make our dinner a good experience. I had the jambon pata negra with melon done three ways. It was delicious. The combination of ham and melon always is a sound mix but this particular plate was definitely at the upper end of the scale. The gorgeous blonde had the tarte fine a potager, an inside out pie with the lightest puff pastry base and a selection of miniature vegetables. She was very happy. Her main course was the lamb and mine the Rouget. Again both perfectly cooked and delicious. We even went for a pudding and shared the caipiroska granité with a port emulsion. Never had it before but definitely will try it again if the opportunity arises. Really refreshing and light. Interestingly we booked through "the Fork" rather than via trip advisor and as a result had complimentary glasses of laurent Perrier when we sat down worth remembering.
There were no seat left at the beach;so we went to Hotel İmperial pool.We had a great time.Everything was perfect.Only a Couple wanted silence. So they Warned us to be quite. But we had three children and Two other children we're at the pool.Totaly with five children we made sone noise. The ambiance and the food was excellent.
We chose the seafood tasting menu which was excellent. We were very surprised that this place hasn't been recognised by Michelin as the quality was up there. The sommelier chose us a lovely white from Provence and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
Perfect day at the beach of Pavillon, we went there yesterday for lunch and enjoy the beach. Beautiful setting, transat on the top pontoon, lunch at the excellent restaurant. Thank you very much to Kim and Sylvain for your kindness.
A sublime and refreshing setting, absolute tranquility...Special for cocktails recommended by Sandrine, the restaurant manager, with little care for us all day! We recommend and return with pleasure!
