Bretagne Beach - Antibes

We stumbled across this beach club on our first day and don't look back 9 days in a row!! Fantastic value for money, very attentive staff who were both friendly and courteous. The 'Boss' made every effort with us to make sure we were looked after and couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasurable as it was. If you want value for money in a beautiful spot this is the place to go to. We will certainly be back!!

Semi friendly staff, we did not get table since we did not book in advance. Semi friendly staff that was very stressed. Serving only at 12.30 and 14.00.

Not the fanciest on the Juan-Les-Pins beach strip but all the better for that. Fantastic views, a waitress that always has a smile on her face, a relaxed vibe and simple, well-cooked fresh seafood. Throw in a bottle of ice cold rosé and what better way to while away a sunny afternoon on the Med?! We fall for its charms every time we visit.

Four friends decided to have a day on a private beach and enjoy lunch. We booked the day which included sun beds and parasols. Upon arrival we were well looked after. The facilities were excellent, changing rooms, toilets, showers etc. We had booked lunch for 2pm. We arrived for lunch at 2pm and by 2.30 we were asked if we would like an appertif . Our orders were taken but we had to wait until 3.10 before our salad arrived. It was a plate of lettuce with goats cheese on bread and a pile of parma ham on top. It was the worst salad ever at 5 euros it would be expensive but at 16 euros it was extortionious, Upon leaving we complained to the propietor who gave us a gaelic shrug. No apolgy. Avoid this place the as there are many other beach bars at Juan les Pins.

Before sunning ourselves on the beach at Juan Les Pins, we decided to have lunch at one of the beachside restaurants. Le Bretagne Beach is right at the end of the Juan Les Pins "strip" and it was busy but not crowded. I had a passable Meat Ravioli and my wife had a tasty Italian salad, which Parma Ham. The view was pleasant and the service mostly good ( one slip up, the waiter brought me a glass of white wine instead of red, but quickly replaced it.) Overall, lunch including coffees was about Euro 45.Afterwards, we noticed that they offer a special during the week of lunch ( with the daily specials only) , including some wine or soft drinks, plus the use of a sunbed, for Euro 25, which is very good value. ( The sunbeds are normally Euro 13.) We will take that option up next time.
