Casa Rio Tex Mex - Anoka

Food was great. Atmosphere was fun. Staff were very attentive and cheerful. The Wednesday Night Date Special was awesome. House margaritas were some of the best I've had. They clearly use fresh ingredients.

I got the vegetarian burrito and I was so impressed at how well the flavors all blended together. It was prepared so good and I can't wait to go back and try the spinach mushroom enchilada, I'm sure that's super good too. Thank you for having vegetarian options! Also, can we just talk about the freshly made and warm tortilla chips?!?! Great service and ambiance too, I'll definitely be going back.

The margarita were delicious are reasonably priced! There was also complimentary chips and salsa once we were seated. However, the food took almost forty...

Food was good. I got the wings, and my husband got the seafood burrito. We both got a frozen strawberry margarita that came in a normal soda cup. It was very watered down, and you couldn't tell it had any alcohol in it. Very untypical margarita style drinks for a Mexican restaurant. Service was ok. The server was a little slow to come back and bring us water but we were also sitting outside and it was a little busy inside. The wings were good.

Service was slower than slow, our server went behind the bar to serve the bar, after 20 minutes of waiting, we stopped another server and asked him if he would please take our order, he said it wasn't his table but would take the order.. one of us got the wrong meal. We stopped our server and told her it was wrong order and asked for the soft shells to go with the Tacos. Those never came so we went up and got them ourselves from the buffet, when she finally came back we told her we just went up and got them ourselves!, she said she put the order in. ??? for the soft shell . That should not take 5 minutes just to warm them up... Then she asked if we wanted to reorder. We said YES, asked for a to go box because the rest of us Already finished our meals and we're ready to leave.. for an eating establishment, we would think food comes before serving liquor.. it was quite obvious she wanted to be bartender,, NOT a server. To your cook: the rest of our food was FABULOUS !!!
