1er Mets - Annecy

After really horrible meals in Switzerland - (which still eats hot cheese and stale bread in 2017), we headed here as a family of four people with our two children - 10 and 11 years old. the food and the setting were fantastic, just like the friendly service of the charming and super friendly condominium of the facade of the house. our 3-course children totaled 15 € each and they were miniature versions of ours - a fantastic value and just as nicely served. we chose the menu at 47 € and each of the 5 dishes was charming. the portions are perfect and the food was clean, tasty and fresh with beautiful touches and combinations. We have only praises for the decor and the atmosphere as well. It's not a big restaurant so book in advance because they refused people. If you're in annecy, go ahead.

Unfortunately, even if we had booked in person when we arrived at annecy, the restaurant reserved us the wrong day. a comprehensible mistake - but they were untruthful, antipathic and did no attempt to rectify their mistake.

We enjoyed our menu. we took 2 different menu options to try everything a bit. I had fish and it was fantastic. My husband had pork and it was great.

Well, where to start. I booked a table for four in a short time. We were lucky. after we saw the comments on tripadvisor, we were expecting to be well. We weren't expecting a head start. the modesty of this restaurant makes a blink of an eye to molecular cuisine, but it integrates it and combines the refined elements with a soil-to-land and healthy quality. from the amusement-bouche to coffee, each offer of the menu discovery of the dishes, a staggering to 47 euros, was a revelation and a testimony of the know-how of the chef in the kitchen. The service was impeccable. I don't know anyone who says otherwise. To crown it all, there was a convention in town so, at the end of the evening, there were no taxis available. the chief/patron has taken us back to our hotel. Gaëlle et nicolas, it was a pleasure and a privilege to meet you and enjoy your food. You're really heading towards greatness.

Certainly a rare pearl. The couple who runs this jewel in a place is absolutely right. imaginative dishes of an irreproachable quality, good wines, a great service. Comfortably intimate, pleasantly informal. Reserve in advance! Many people want to eat here. A few lucky ones will.
