Sammys Downtown Deli - Annapolis

Every sandwich we've tried from the menu has been outstanding, and the staff is incredibly friendly, especially towards children!

I ordered food from there not long ago and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is outstanding. This place deserves more recognition in downtown; not enough people are talking about it!

I was on the hunt for a great sandwich shop and I finally discovered one here. I must have walked past it a hundred times, but I was finally inspired to step inside. I'm so glad I did! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to create a custom sandwich that turned out to be delicious. The ingredients were of high quality and expertly combined. I definitely plan to return!

Stopped by while walking around Annapolis near the Naval Base. Purchased a sandwich recommended by the owner, along with some cheese and a dill pickle. The sandwich was prepared well and had the right amount of spices and taste notes in a meat hoagie sandwich. The pickle reminded me of the ones that I brought in my childhood back in the day. I totally recommend this establishment. The owner was nice, as we had a good conversation about the area. He promised me that I would be satisfied with the sandwich, and I was and plan to go back for another one. I will provide a photo of the next sandwich.

Walked in today and so glad we did. The gentleman (Sammy, I assume) was a gracious and friendly host who made great recommendations from the large menu and we had a great conversation while we waited a few minutes for our sandwiches. When we got our food, H-3 and H-9, we were not disappointed. They were good size and delicious. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Annapolis! Thanks, Big Cheese!
