Leeward Market Cafe Grocery - Annapolis

I visited for the first time while in the area from Texas. At first glance, the restaurant seems quite small from the outside. I ordered rice and chicken soup, coffee, and some dessert, and everything was delicious. We would definitely come back because the woman behind the counter was friendly and made us feel welcomed.

I'm not sure I can fully capture all the amazing aspects of Leeward Market. This place truly serves as a community hub. Every time I visit, either Michelle or Jeannie is engaged in a deep and meaningful conversation with a regular customer, all while efficiently taking orders and keeping the line moving. The ambiance is filled with local charm—there are books by local authors and pastries from local bakers on display; it really feels like a wonderful blend of Eastport. Personally, I've also benefited from Leeward Market's support of local businesses, as Michelle graciously allows me to keep cards for my pet care service near the dog treat section. I've never felt rushed or unwelcome here, even when the morning and lunch crowds make it busy. The food is always beautifully presented and incredibly delicious! My favorites are the spinach salad and the house-made bagel chips. It’s truly a hidden gem and a cherished part of Eastport. I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for a warm welcome and a satisfying meal.

The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for the best spots to visit in East Port. The food was delicious as well.

Always have to grab a bite here when I visit town. The staff is always so kind and has time to chat. My food is always done so fast and is delicious every time! Very reasonable prices with a great selection. A real gem of Eastport. :
