Annapolis Market House

Ate there yesterday for the first time and I was very impressed. Had a crabcake that was very well season and lots of flavor. The vegetables were fresh and fries hot. Service was great. Will definitely eat there again.

Excellent food with tons of great outdoor seating and low prices. Based on its location, it looks like a tourist trap with the opposite of what I describe. Nope, it’s great. Highly recommended!

The steamed mussels and soft shell crab sandwich were delicious. We arrived as the lunch rush was ending so there were only a few tables occupied at that point. We waited a while after finishing the mussels, then eventually our server (who we thought was new but let us know she was the manager) asked if we were ready for the bill. Totally surprised, we told her we hadn 't gotten our sandwich yet. We saw her go back and get it from under the heat lamp. When she brought it, she said they were having an off day . What she neglected to do was say, I 'm sorry for the wait .As the manager, she should have noticed the sandwich sitting there for a while, she never once checked on us about our food, did we need a drink refill, offer dessert. I 'm in the food business and know the challenges, but service (by the manager no less) was not great that day and there were only three tables occupied through all of this.I will try them again because the food was excellent and I saw other staff who were really on the ball.

Located in historic Annapolis and steps away from the US Naval Academy, Market House was a great find. We enjoyed our crab cake sandwich and lobster roll outdoors overlooking the boatyard. Service was good and the food came quick. Live music indoors sounded fun too.
