Hunan Heritage - Annandale

The food did not taste freshly cooked. It was oily and greasy, and the prices were too high.

If I could give a lower rating, I definitely would. The food was terrible and way too expensive. I shudder to think about the state of the kitchen.

I ordered multiple dishes from this restaurant with the intention of enjoying them over several days. I wanted to try this new place I had never been to before. However, after dining in many Chinese restaurants in the area, I can honestly say that this was the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food was either bland or drowned in brown sauce, and the presentation was unappetizing. The Chinese cabbage with mushroom was particularly disgusting, as were the scallops.

Don?t let the pictures fool you. I ordered twice cooked pork, it was old and disgusting! That was my first and last time ordering from this place, I just don?t get it!

The best (American style) Chinese carryout in Annandale! I live on the other side of Annandale and drive past three other Chinese restaurants to get to this one. Prices on the lower end of average and food quality on the higher end of average carryout food. Highly recommend.
