The Waffle Press - Anna Maria

We enjoyed this spot! It’s cute and charming. You order at a take out window, but there is a large shaded outdoor seating area. Coffee tasted great. And so did the waffles. They are a cake-y and doughy waffle with a nice crispy outside, just how we like them. Glad we gave them a visit.

If you're staying in the area, this is a neat little place, yes it's take out with outdoor tables and shade. Not great if it's raining, we liked it, but we went a bit late, as they were closing as we arrived. So check the hours before you go. The waffles were good, but on the small side and they were out of certain items, but that was more our fault for arriving late.

This charming and unique spot is a great find during a stroll around Anna Maria. We ordered the New Yorker sandwich and two smoothies, and we all agreed that everything was delicious. Although there was a bit of a wait since it's a small place, the sandwiches were definitely worth it. The woman taking the orders was really kind to my son, even asking for his name to call when our order was ready. He thought that was really neat—it's the little things that make a difference!

This place truly has it all: delicious food, friendly staff, and a fantastic ambiance. The Californian breakfast sandwich is one of the best I've ever tasted, and the waffles are truly exceptional. If you have a penchant for sweets, their waffle creations are absolutely delightful! This spot is a must-visit for both tourists and locals alike!

The waffles were excellent, especially the yeasty-flavored Belgian ones, which I absolutely loved. However, what really stood out to me was the friendly demeanor and customer service provided by the man running the establishment. He was cheerful and upbeat at 7 a.m., which was a refreshing change from the typical attitude of restaurant staff on the island. It was truly a delight!
