Having had a great experience here the last time we came to AMI, my family went as a large group (16) on our recent beach week.
Honestly, I wish the reviews for the landmark pier were broken out from those of the restaurant.
Love seeing dolphins swim by and the live music is always a nice touch. Best place to watch the sunset.
Casual place to enjoy some expansive views of Tampa Bay, Sunshine Skyway, and Anna Maria waterway. The surrounding area is within walking distance to some island restaurants, ice cream and just a few blocks to the beach. This is a great place to explore if you love the water (enjoy dolphin watching) and tropical vibe of Florida without the commercial chain restaurants. It can be crowded on the weekends, so best to visit during the week, early or late. There is a boat rental place just down the street if you love sailing, with a very nice restaurant adjacent to the marina.
