Zingerman's Bakehouse - Ann Arbor

Always! I was there for Sauerteigbrot and Pimento cheese today. Occasionally the wrong cheese bought without paying attention and found another cheese called Liptauer, which is now also a favorite? (Köpfer? Whoever. Great service. Beautiful seat picnic tables outside and the owner, Ari was walking around.. I think it's nice when people have hands with their shops, but in a not intimidating way. The sourdough was sold. Woot! A very nice snack while waiting for Costco to turn off my new tires lol.

Sure you can read all the great reviews about this place and that's all fine, but I'm very MAD at the chocolate donut we got here because that may be the most incredible, unique, masterfully textured, balanced donut I've had in my life. I am also MAD I only bought one. And I'm very MAD I live four hours away.

What an experience ? Must try? Jumble berry cheese danish Butter croissant ? They have many stores on the same street, with their Candy Manufactory Store selling all kinds of exclusive candies? and their creamery having a variety of cheese? wines ?

5/5 Service 5/5 Speed 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Food! This place deserves every good review! The staff here are so wonderful and the food is fantastic! I might be in the area once a year. When I stopped a few weeks ago, I got my annual brownies (try them all, they're all delicious!) and asked if there's something else I should try as I rarely visited. The gentleman cut a slice of blueberry coffee cake for me to try what was so nice of him to do. And it was delicious! The cake was very moist, the taste was spot on not too sweet, blueberries seemed to be perfect ripe (without the bang of underripe berries . I loved it and will definitely be a whole next time when I am in the area! It's probably a good thing I live so far from here. Otherwise my wallet would be serious danger!

An iconic brand in Ann Arbor. My wife cost some stuff for our trip back to PA and I just had the cupcakes a moment ago. Oh, my, I can tell you that the cupcakes I just had are the best I had in the USA for 11 years. We? ve had countless cupcakes from indie stores, Whole Foods, Wegman?s, you call it. No other cupcakes ever came close to how wonderful and balanced the cupcakes of Zingerman?s tasted. They just felt right and not artificial. If you are like me to find things in the USA, are either too sweet or salty, Zingerman?s should be the right place for you.
