The only thing that possibly could have been better than the food was the service. Jennifer was very attentive to our every need. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

TLDR : Food does not match the amazing ambience We start off by saying that we were very very excited to try this location out as we see all the positive reviews on yelp, as well as some videos on other social media platforms I will say that when you walk in the interior is jaw-dropping. I love the open spaces, it really reminds me of all the nice restaurants I used to go to while living in California and Los Angeles, Malibu, San Francisco. The service is spectacular, you’re given a single server who is consistently running back-and-forth to your table and sharing that everything that you need is there. He was fantastic. I will definitely go back to see him because the way he described the menu made it sound something like a work of art. Onto the food The food really does not live up to the hype. In my opinion, I believe the owners were really trying to go for a high-end dining experience, and I think that they are very close to doing so I will say this, though, the food did not have much taste, as Gordon Ramsay would say it was bland , and for that reason, I will not be returning. Another thing to know is with an experience like this my true opinion on it is, if you’re going to have prices as high as they are for the amount of food that you do serve out with on the plates something has to change. Either decrease the cost of the food to match the serving by the plate, or decreased the price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We’re visiting my daughter in Ann Arbor and she brought us here for dinner. Like many have mentioned, the place has great atmosphere, but what really impressed us was the food and the professional service. Entrees we had were the lamb shank with quinoa. It was fall-off-the-bone delicious. My companions had the seared cod and the scallops both of which were also very good. We also really enjoyed a variety of sides including Pommes Aligot which raised whipped potatoes to a whole new plane and the sweet potatoes with shaved black truffle—truly sublime. One of my companions owned and ran a high end restaurant for decades and he claimed it was the best meal he’s had in years. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Let's chalk up bad experience to COVID staffing issues. Returned for an excellent meal in exquisite surroundings.
