Stray Hen Cafe Ann Arbor

We came today about this new caffe. the whole food was very fresh and delicious, for a reasonable price! the personal was also attentive and friendly. update 04/15/2022: we returned to our popular restaurant in ann arbor today. the owner chris and the staff, especially zea, were very friendly and impeccably welcoming. the salad bowl is as high as ever, with fresh ingredients, massive portions and fair price. the apfelsitter was especially perfectly crispy on the outside, soft in the inner and tasty in each part!

Visited the stay Hen during a work trip and liked it! Gives off a typical university dinner and offers some good selection for early day meals. Check it out!

Went here on Thursday morning for brunch. We got the blueberry lemon cheesecake pancakes, cinnamon swirl pancakes, and caramel macchiato. Everything was AMAZING! Our favorite was the cinnamon swirl pancakes. The portions are huge, too!! The owner is also so kind and makes sure that you’re taken care of. If you’re in Ann Arbor, make sure to give this place a try!

Interesting menu choices. Typical coffee from a cup of coffee to lattes. Friendly welcoming staff. I ordered the blueberry and lemon cheesecake pancakes delicious. The pancakes alone were fluffy and had a good taste but add the lemon cheesecake topping with the blueberry sauce and it took it to another level of delicious. I also had the Carmel macchiato which while delicious was very sweet. We also ordered the pancakes with bananas. Again the pancakes alone are so good. You can order fruit as a topping, healthier than a sauce. I would definitely come back.
