Amadeus - Ann Arbor

This charming Eastern European restaurant in Ann Arbor is truly a gem, representing a rare breed of its kind. The small space is filled with unique decorations that are so abundant, it's hard to appreciate everything in just one visit. The food is outstanding, and they offer something truly special that you won't find anywhere else in the city.

Our family had a wonderful dinner in amadeus last week. Favourite app on the table was the krakau placek, and favorite main dish was the paprikash! it was excellent! full taste and the perfect comfort eating after a cold day in the game. we shared a decadent chocolate torte with celberry for dessert. atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. in any case a place I would highly recommend if in ann arbor.

The pierogis here are a must-try, but they tend to sell out quickly, so be sure to ask what's available before you order. They’re hearty and definitely not the best choice for those watching their cholesterol—think kielbasa and indulgent dishes. The drink selection leans towards Eastern European and Mediterranean options, though it's quite limited. An added bonus is the small, relatively undiscovered parking garage right across the street, making it convenient to access.

Absolutely visit this place! The food is incredible, and the service is TOP NOTCH. Michael was fantastic! I was genuinely impressed by how wonderful this restaurant is. Everything tastes fresh, and you can really sense the care they put into their dishes. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

Had an early dinner before a show at The Ark. Four of us dined and found the food to be delightful. Collectively we enjoyed the food, the ambiance, and especially our waiter Michael. He was very polite and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend Amadeus.
