So, we decided to go to the Vagator Beach and found this beach shack restaurant. The place was quiet and staff welcoming. We order very slowly like 1 dish per hour, but they served well. We tasted Paneer Chilly, French Fries, Fresh Lime Soda and Goan Fish Thali which was pretty good. It had Prawns curry, rice, dry prawns, some veges, etc. All of this was tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant also has a bar and a wide range of other food items. The seating was good, and we had a great time spotting Dolphins near the beach from the restaurant.
I have been here thrice in last 6 months and totally live the food and view .. This is a much quieter part of the beach and offers a superb view .. The place offers excellent food and service is top notch .. Pricing is moderate.. If you don't like taking stairs there's one approach from Casa Vagator which has 25-30 stairs then you should park your car near the market area of Ozran beach as from that end it's just a 2 minute straight walk . Good place to visit with family for lunch and sit till sunset .
Went there with friends on a Friday night... getting there is a problem... we had to reach there by going through a neighboring restaurant, which is always embarrassing... the staff very quickly arranged the tables for us and started serving us decent food. beware of the cocktails ... they pack quite a punch. i asked for a stick of cinnamon in my whisky sour which they could not provide ? and had to change the order to a LIIT. the kingfish was cooked well in two different sauces as i had requested and the king prawns masala style were great. i'm allergic to vegetarian food in goa and hence cannot comment on what my vegetarian friends ate. there is no dance floor of sorts and so go there to sit and hog , not to shake a leg... ps. we tried going there again on sunday but the place was closed . id give it a eight and a half out of ten
The staff is friendly, the wifi is good, and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. It's my favorite place to grab a sunbed when I'm at the beach.
This beach shack in Vagator is definitely one of the best. They offer great food and drinks with a vast menu. While they only have a few lounge chairs out front, you don't need to pay for them - just order something to enjoy the view. The prices are still reasonable compared to other beach shacks. The service is also great.
