O Prato - Anjuna

Located in Aarpora, Goa, this hidden gem is a brilliant restaurant with a wide variety of delicious food options including Goan, Chinese, and Continental dishes. The fresh ingredients and reasonable prices make it a great dining choice. The owners, Erin and Terrance, are very welcoming and provide personal attention to all guests. The restaurant has a charming outdoor patio in a traditional Portuguese-style home, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The live music performances are some of the best in North Goa. This Restaurant used to be called Nic & Nats but has now changed names and ownership.My wife and I walked there one evening for a meal to try out the food and service.We were greeted by a waiter and shown to a table and given a menu.Our drinks order was taken while we looked at what to have.The menu is not large but what is on offer is ample.We ordered a beef steak for me and peppered chicken for my wife.The drinks arrived and we chatted for a while.There is a feeling of not being rushed which is very relaxing for the customers.Our food arrived and the presentation was very special. The steak was exceptional as was my wife's peppered chicken.We returned here on our own then with friends.The staff are very polite and attentive.The director Erin visited us to ask was all to our liking.I hope this restaurant succeeds as I think it will. We will visit always when in Goa and would highly recommend others to try.And Erin thank you on our last night for the Goan speciality of Sorpatel.Brilliant

Joe and Erin were very friendly and helpful as we were newly arrived tourists. The food was excellent each night we went and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!

O Prato was a fantastic spot for a delightful family dinner. The live music, featuring classic songs, created a wonderful atmosphere. The owners offered us delicious champagne with strawberry accents that paired perfectly with the mushroom Al forno and garlic bread starters. The service was top-notch all night and the owners were very hospitable. I highly recommend trying the beef steak and, if you have room for dessert, the panna cotta is sure to satisfy your taste buds.

A really warm and freindly welcome from erin& Joe (proprietors ) has soon as walk in .we whined & dined there for one month ,never once did we have any reason to complain FOOD is exelent steaks,goan food ,fish spaghetti Bolognese &the wife said the cheesecake is to die for.HONESTY must mention this having paid my bill walking back to hotel up came Joe on I scooter to say you have made a mistake he gave me back 500 rupee note you left this instead a 100 rupee note ,in this day and age i think this says everything about this management. ROLL ON NEXT YEAR
