Du Domaine Du Châtelard Le Got De Dirac Angoulême

The Châtelard is above all a welcome, always as friendly and personalized. But it's also a real art of living... A place out of time, away from the city, from the modern world (but of course keeping the benefits), a haven of peace in the midst of nature! A staff with small care, professional but without rigidity, really at the top! A beautiful room as always... Large, very large, with dressing room and living room. Meals... what to say, except I don't know why Yvan doesn't have a star... The meals are really gastronomic, very varied when you stay several days, very hearty. And everything is done at home, a lot of products come from the field, we immediately feel the unfailing quality! And it's really high-end! Breakfasts are always top, very complete, based on organic products or even made on site (paintings, jams, etc.), eggs are cooked on request, very large selection of cheeses as well. The pool is superb and allows you to spend very pleasant days, as well as the lake and the estate with many hiking trails, often shaded, very sought after in the summer. Dogs are very welcome in the area, I still thank the area of my parking in the subpopulation, and a lake almost privatized! Two strong points to note: the car promenade, which starts from the property and lasts 1h30, superb idea to visit and learn more about the surrounding countryside. The boss is really nice! The meal without electricity on the lake, an enchantment not to be missed if it is renewed! A memorable and magical moment with the legend of the Queimada contée by Franck the master of the hotel! We would like to thank Pascale and Yvan for this enchanting stay and all the staff who are really at the top! In conclusion, a word: we are already looking forward to coming back!

Excellent place! With a genuine French breakfast... There is a fireplace in winter, a terrace in summer with a beautiful view of the pound : beautiful!!!!

As usual. Being intolerant to gluten, the chef has prepared me a superb dessert that could be called a decline around chocolate, gluten-free and delicious!

House and service at TOP. Successful dishes: we become violent not to lick the plates. Even bread is housed as small candy with coffee. A very nice address.
