Best fish and chips in town, usually. Quality drops occasionally, maybe staff issues or rush hour. Cheaper than Moonlight fish back down the street, and much more choice. My go-to is the flathead tails, but grilled whiting is good too. Minimum chips is plenty for three, I reckon, but that’s because we don’t wanna die from too many oily potatoes. Glad they reopened after staff problems. Oh, no flat wheelchair access, sadly. Hafta wait outside like a leper. Wheelchair accessibility: shop has a 15cm step at the door, so no good for most wheelies. We got takeaway from here the other day and don’t understand why it’s doesn’t have better reviews. The food was great the service was great the 3 girls in the shop were very friendly I was told it would be a 10 minute wait for my food and they had it ready in 8. The Fish was fresh the calamari was fresh and so was the prawns the chips were really good. We had takeaway at Fish by Moonlight two days prior and I think the have the reviews mixed up Anglesea Fish and Chips is the place to go when in Anglesea. Don’t waste your money at the over priced and poor quality food at Fish by Moonlight. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
