Crusco's - Angels Camp

I really am struggling to figure out all these good reviews. In all honesty this was the worst meal I ever had in my entire life. The ceasar salad was just shredded lettuce with mayonnaise. No garlic or anchovies or Dijon mustard worshorshire or egg or parmesan or even olive oil. No lemon. Not a real ceasar and this is an Italian restaurant. No flavor. A ceasar does not have mayonnaise it is supposed to have egg yolk. The calamari was all breading and no squid, and the chicken breast I had was literally like eating rubber. I spat it out it was so horrible. It was disgusting to say the least. We sent everything back except the calamari and couldn 't eat it. Even the basic pasta with marinara was terrible. Overcooked and really bad flavor. I was amazed how awful the food was. It was memorable. It was a traumatic experience. Like I said this was the worst food I 've ever had in my entire life not exaggerating. The waitress didn 't charge us but she thought we were being jerks for no reason and we were not. We left her 25 bucks tip. Amazing how bad the food was I can 't even tell you. We offered to even pay for everything but server refused that offer.

Was a great experience we’ve lived in valley springs since 2022 and didn’t know it existed until we drove by. Turned out to be a great little place. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
