However, when we arrived to pick up our order, we were charged even more than we expected. When we asked about the discrepancy, we were informed that prices had gone up yet again. Although the food was decent, it did not justify the higher price we ended up paying.
Excellent beautifully cooked Thai food in a very pleasant and super clean restaurant. Great service provided by Chris. Our evening meal in the Barossa Siam rounded off our visit to Angaston. Highly recommended!
We made a spontaneous decision to dine out, and our friends chose this restaurant as they had been before. It exceeded our expectations. The appetizers were ample and flavorful, and came with tasty sauces. Each of us ordered a different main dish and were all happy with the taste, portion size, and prompt service. It was a satisfying experience overall, and we would recommend it to others and definitely go back again.
I recently dined at this well-known restaurant in Angaston and was extremely impressed by the quality of the authentic Thai dishes offered here. My dining experience was wonderful, as I had traveled from the Adelaide Hills for lunch. Some standout dishes included the crispy pork belly in master stock and the spicy minced chicken with chili and Thai basil, both of which were delicious examples of regional Thai cuisine. The service, provided by a mature gentleman named Chris, was friendly, efficient, and he helped us choose a great bottle of aromatic white wine from the extensive wine list that complemented the spice level of our food perfectly. The food, cooked by Chris' Thai wife Puk, was authentic and delicious - coming from someone who lived in Thailand for 10 years, I can attest to its authenticity. Overall, I had a fantastic lunch and highly recommend this restaurant.
The most tasteless dry unauthentic Thai food. I would not and can’t even call this Thai or any kind of Asian food or taste. Can’t imagine how they have anything rating over 2 stars. I don’t like writing reviews that can hurt people’s livelihoods but they should not be allowed to also hurt peoples back pocket and by selling this quality of food at least add some liquid to your dishes. Just wrong
