Well done to the owner and the skinny man in dinning room/bar/pokies is polite and friendly. Well Done.
Excellent well priced food and top quality wine list. Very generous servings. The cellar in the attached bottle shop is worth a visit for its extensive selection of local wines. Worth a visit.
I enjoyed my first pub meal for months at this lovely spacious old country hotel. Went for lunch in a small group and we all chose from the classics section of the menu. I enjoyed my salt and pepper squid, the others liked their meals and we were all really impressed with the whopping beef burger served to one of us. Drinks and meals were reasonably priced and the service was friendly and pretty quick too.
We dined here for lunch, having the special which included tomato and bacon soup, bread roll and 2 pieces of fish with chips and salad for $18. Food was delicious as previous visits. Due to government restrictions, no salad bars are allowed, but we look forward to having it return at some stage! We also look forward to seeing this restaurant re instated into the digital entertainment book.
I recently had the 3-course special at this restaurant, which included soup, roast beef, and a chocolate dessert. It was absolutely incredible! The price was only $22, but the quality was top-notch - it looked and tasted like a million dollars, even deserving of a Michelin star. The portions were generous, the soup was hearty and made from scratch, the roast beef melted in my mouth, and the dessert was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning for the excellent service and lovely food.
