La taverne du Forez

We had booked two weeks before to eat the evening of the music festival. We were installed on the terrace. After taking the apéro we were told that we could have only the boards, no meals served on the terrace tonight...As we planned to eat we moved into the room (no air conditioning). We arrived at 7:00 to come out at 11:00. endless service, overflowed waitresses, tensions between staff and boss far from being pleasant. Too bad because the meal was very good (it stays expensive) but tonight the rest to ruin our evening.

For the festival of music, we decided to go for a drink and eat at the tavern; we had already gone there and we had even advised our surroundings to eat there because the kitchen is good and the boss seemed friendly to us. despite some alcohols bills outraged (from 6 euros ). yesterday it was just catastrophic, big disappointment!!! we had only ordered cheese and charcuterie boards as well as shrimp and we never saw our order arrive. More than two hours of waiting and finally we left without eating. people who arrived well after us saw their plates coming, others like us, abandoned and canceled their order has force to wait. The completely lost waitresses didn't look any more boring than that and the boss for the little we crossed him... was unpleasant! it's very unfortunate because the service is a trade and even if the kitchen is good we won't put our feet back on it. the mistake is human you will tell me and I agree entirely:) again it is necessary to have in front of either people who at least look sorry to have completely planted themselves:/would be what is called "take the melon"?

1st phone contact: friendly boss. Arrived on site: warm / clean / friendly reception. We've been eating a burger cheese for my part, accompanied by an ice cream coktail. Nothing to say on the dish very good! a redo :-)

Lunch with colleagues from noon time. I had to call before to make it clear that we were in a hurry. result: waiting time too long to take the order (20 good minutes waiting), we finally left with delay of the restaurant. The meal was medium, what was on the plates did not correspond to what was initially planned (free of pasta, finally we had potatoes, duck neck instead of the gizzards!). boss or waiter? making limit reflections, noisy room.

The welcome is nice (both the boss and the waitress) and the dishes are delicious. the decor with the uterines is fun.
